so. many of you were wondering what my next move was gonna be regarding my chilly apartment. today i finally sat down and took my landlord to task as best i could, considering the fact that i can’t seem to get in touch with him directly. i’ve blurred out my gov’t and a few other possibly damning particulars . (if anybody grafts my signature from that facsimile and uses it to their wicked benefit
essentially, the heat works now, but the apartment doesn’t really get warm. it’s like. on the bad side of lukewarm. weak. i don’t have time for it. and my hot water still doesn’t work in the f%ckin bathroom!
this afternoon i’m making an excel spreadsheet which will log all my phonecalls and correspondence attempts chronologically. i ain’t gettin did over no apartment, no matter how much i like the living space. ’cause…i do like the living space.
anyway, this has been a crazy week. i won’t get into too much detail, but the rollercoaster of emo trails way back into last year and careens straight through January. this is relevant to my life in music because…it’s either gonna inspire some fantastic sh%t or it’s gonna kill it. either way.
one day i’ll have something completely relevant to discuss.

The ladlord needs to stop being an ass. My sister had the same problem and wound up having to threaten to take the guy to court before he did anything about the heat. Hopefully, your situation won’t come to this. But you DO need to take teh cost of that hotel out of your rent. There’s no excuse for no hot water, none at all.

but yeah, if i don’t hear anything back from him by monday (which i halfway expect no to), i’m sending him a letter that i’ll be taking it outta my rent. he’ll expect a copy of my receipt and a short rent check feb 1st.

taking the professional approach is best and documenting all of your attempts at trying to get your landlord to rectify the situation is smart, dave… this guy needs a fire lit under him… put it there. hope all works out…eh, i know all about the emo phases that don’t seem to let up *shrugs*
