oh, media. what will we ever do with you?

i’m not a conspiracy theorist by any means. and, i don’t go scouring the headlines and in between the lines to find small fibers of racism and what not, but sometimes, you know.

it’s just sorta there.

this morning while reading the philadelphia metro, i came across a blurb on beanie sigel’s promotional visit to philly. i found the choice of words on this front page posting somewhat peculiar–

i mean.

we are pretty familiar with his legal troubles. right now, though, and in general- he’s a musician promoting his sh%t. it’s just suspect because i don’t recall anyone referencing lovely socialite Paris Hilton’s criminal background when she visited a local Macy’s last month to promote her new fragrance, Can Can.

in fact, your average hollywood c-lister has a substantial enough rapsheet to warrant a dishonorable mention.

smh indeed.
