i’m working on a project.

in this generation of albums parading as mixtapes, i’ve decided to throw another offering into the mix.

it’s actually fundamentally more like a Welcome 2 Detroit.

one producer. rack of mcs (’cept i hope most of them to be dope)

i’m in the process of putting a list of mcs together that i’d like to participate in the project. i’ma reach out, let ‘em know what i’m doing and see what it would take to swing ‘em my way.

i want this to be big. like a coming out party, no homo.  goin the full 9 god willing. all out. i’m tired of being potentially dope, hinting at it. i need a full situation popping. december’s gonna be a busy month.

i should be picking up the macbook out of the hospital this weekend, thanks to a certain super special someone helping me out while i’m too broke to retrieve it on my own financial recognizance.

it’s gonna take a couple of bucks to get the 2nd bedroom turned clean into my new pre-pro/recording space.  i’m going in on that front too, doing the whole auralex roominators thing, maybe some bass traps, and i’ll be setting up a working booth, mic stand and all. it’s gonna be busy in there, i hope there’s enough room.

i’m wondering if there’s enough space in the closet to store a pc or 2 in. also i wonder if i could remotely control the pcs from outside of the closet. i’ll have to measure sometime this week.

anyway, yeah. if my determination can stay consistent throughout the next 3-6 months, you all will be in for some treats.
